New Year’s Day Get-Together
Members and friends of MCCC gathered at Sheraton Utama in the capital town of Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei on 1st January 2008 for a New Year’s Day lunch in honour of Fr Ivan’s presence with them.
Later that same afternoon, the Council members and some invited guests had a meeting in one of the function rooms of the hotel.
Among the items discussed were the ongoing projects in Cambodia and China. The fund-raising events for February were finalised and those present were also enlightened by a presentation by Simon Newn who had spent some time with his family with our missionaries in Cambodia.
Fr Ivan took the opportunity to thank the members for their ongoing support without which the work of MCCC couldn’t have continued.
